My grandparents are my heroes because they experienced great difficulties in life, but remained unbroken. That is why I chose them as my number one heroes. My grandfather passed away very early. This is the saddest day of my life. When we lose one of them it’s a shot to the heart. It becomes a wound that never fully heals. He’s my hero because he was special, not like anyone else I have ever met. My grandmother continued to live and overcome the difficulties of life. Their life serves as a great paragon for me. My grandparents’ biggest dream was to see me happy and one day be successful. I admire them and appreciate them.

This story is filled with deep morality, bright humour, and most importantly - the hope that times change. Everyone needs to read this to understand and feel the spirit of that era. The main characters of this story go through a war - a war with society, with prejudices, with their own character. This story is about tolerance and prejudice, the story of how people can make mistakes in their judgments. Describing the world through the eyes of a little girl, the author forces to take a fresh look at many things.

This is one of the most wonderful books I have read. The book is filled with smells, sounds and feelings. I will reread it more than once, I'm sure. It is a very kind and sunny story, sunk into my heart and has become one of my favourite ones. The book tells about one wonderful summer, through the eyes of two brothers who live in a small town. The book's narration is so bright, warm, and sunny — like that dandelion wine. Closing the book, I looked with a smile somewhere in space, into the distance, and the world seemed completely different to me.
