Safety Tips |
Always be a polite driver because good driving behaviour starts with you. Please, avoid verbal abuse, rude gestures and driving too close to a car in front;
Keep a good distance between cars (You will be able to stop your car and not be involved in an accident);
Do not exceed the permitted speed (you still do not have enough experience to avoid an emergency. Also this is a traffic offence and punishable by high fines or loss a licence);
Always wear your seatbelt and advise your passengers to do the same (Most road deaths come from not wearing a seat belt);
If you are tired, then do not drive a car to avoid an accident (You can easily fall asleep while driving);
Wear the proper shoes when you drive a car (Otherwise, your thongs or high heels can slip off the pedals);
If an animal jumps out in front of your car, don't swerve because you can instinctively drive into oncoming traffic and kill a lot of people (Just hit the breaks by all means);
Try not to eat while driving (You can get distracted, choke on food and cause accident);
Never use alcohol, drugs, or serious medications while driving;
Do not get distracted by your phone while driving (You can create a fatal situation. Do not be a fool - do not use the mobile phone while driving!);
Make sure that your car is serviced regularly (Check the brakes, tyre pressure, water and oil level).
