“How good one feels when one is full - how satisfied with ourselves and with the world! People who have tried it, tell me that a clear conscience makes you very happy and contented; but a full stomach does the business quite as well, and is cheaper, and more easily obtained.”
- Jerome K. Jerome
This is an English classic with a characteristic sense of humour. One of my favourite books! This is a story about how three friends and a dog decided to arrange a boat swim on the River Thames. This is the main river of Great Britain, which is associated with many cultural and historical events.
Amusing misunderstandings, funny collisions and comic situations that heroes come out of, invariably preserving a truly British sense of self-esteem, still amaze today with their originality and unfading humour. This is an amazingly good and funny story. There is very subtle and intriguing humour. Reading this book lifts my mood and leaves me feeling warm in my soul.
I recommend this work and generally recommend reading, because it brings so many positive emotions, makes you think and reason!!!
