“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” - Robert Brault
I would like to express gratitude to my father. He's a cool dad. He likes to share his incredible stories with me and my friends. We often laugh together. Much like my dad, I love sharing stories and making people laugh. My dad is an optimist and I am happy that his positive attitude reflects on me. Thank you for always being with me in difficult times, helping and supporting me, giving me money when I'm completely broke. My dad has faith in me, even when it doesn't seem like it. He just wants to make sure I take full advantage of the opportunities and achieve what I am capable of. We have a deeper level of affection and appreciation for one another. Thank you again and again.
“Women are the real superheroes because they’re not just working. They have a life and everything.” - Vanessa Paradis
My mam is my hero! In those few phrases, my perception of my mother was completely changed forever. She suddenly became almost larger than life. Despite any hardships she may have faced, she wants to eradicate any potential setbacks we may have and ensure our lives are as blissful as possible. My mam is my best friend. I can discuss everything with her without any hesitation. My mam motivates me and keeps me going, even when I want to give up. She is an amazing person to me because she shows me that no matter what struggles she faces in her life or what happens to her, she never gives up and keeps going forward. She is my hero. Always and forever.
“The fewer one's comforts, the fewer one's needs; and the fewer one's needs, the greater one's happiness.” - Jules Verne
"Children of Captain Grant" - is one of the most brilliant works of the author, which was interesting to read. This amazing work impressed me with its deep well thought of every detail, the story and each character. All the adventures of the main characters and their travels, as set out in the book, are described very fascinatingly and based on a riddle. It is this mystery that we are trying to solve throughout the entire work. The book describes various natural landscapes: deserts and steppes, snowy mountain peaks and giant cracks, picturesque waterfalls, calm rivers, and swamps. A special place in the story is occupied by natural phenomena such as tropical rainfall, floods, landslides, avalanches, volcanic eruptions. But at the most important place, of course, heroes who, in spite of all obstacles, continue their journey in search of the brave captain Grant, who suffers shipwreck near the island of Tabor.
“When I am king they shall not have bread and shelter only, but also teachings out of books, for a full belly is little worth where the mind is starved.” - Mark Twain, The Prince and the Pauper
This story tells about two boys born in London on the same day: Edward, Prince of Wales and Tom Canty, a street beggar. Edward was born in the royal family and everyone was waiting for his birth. Tom was born in a poor family and was destined to know all the burdens of poor life. Once, two children met and found that they were very similar to each other. From that moment on, their lives changed abruptly and their difficult adventures began. Starting to read this story, you will find yourself in an incredible and wonderful world, ruled by kings. I like how Mark Twain accurately and colorfully describes all the historical details - traditions, churches, castles, even clothing and laws. This story is about how two boys from different walks of life swapped places. Prince Edward Tudor and Tom Kenti were so similar that they could not be distinguished. Each of the boys is waiting for an incredible adventure. First, the guys are having fun and enjoying unfamiliar sensations. But then each of them understands how difficult life is often. I really like this story. This is probably the best book by Mark Twain.
