“Make it a habit to tell people, ‘thank you.’ To express your appreciation sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you’ll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you’ll find that you have more of it.” - Ralph Marston
I have a few good friends, but I want to tell about one of them. Harry, this story is about you! I would like to say thanks to you. You accept me for who I am. You are always ready to help me and support in a difficult moment. You always show a genuine interest in what’s going on in my life. I feel better and secure when we share our secrets with each other. I know you never betray me. I am grateful that you are a part of my life. In good times and bad, I’ll always be by your side. You are a true friend and person with the most incredible qualities that I very rarely find in people. I feel so lucky to have you as my friend.
“I am of certain convinced that the greatest heroes are those who do their duty in the daily grind of domestic affairs whilst the world whirls as a maddening dreidel.” - Florence Nightingale
I would like to thank you for always standing by my side ever since I was a little boy. Grandma, thank you for being my hero, someone to lean on, and my best friend. You make me feel loved and important. You are always proud of anything I do. You are not just my Grandma, you are a special person who overcame difficulties in your life and never gave up. Grandma, thank you for your infinite love and wisdom.
"You're either my ship's cook-and then you were treated handsome-or Cap'n Silver, a common mutineer and pirate, and then you can go hang!" - Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island
The famous novel by Robert Louis Stevenson tells of the exciting and dangerous adventures of the young Jim and his older comrades who went in search of a pirate treasure. I really liked this novel. This is so realistic that it just took breath away when reading. I really felt the sound of the wind, the salt spray on my face, Jim's fear when dealing with Billy Bons and Blind Pew.
“I do not wish any reward but to know I have done the right thing.” - Mark Twain, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
This is my favourite book. Huckleberry Finn is a boy who always finds a way out of difficult situations. Finn's life philosophy is quite simple. This is freedom and adventure. We should learn the kindness and sincerity from this guy.
