My grandparents are my heroes because they experienced great difficulties in life, but remained unbroken. That is why I chose them as my number one heroes. My grandfather passed away very early. This is the saddest day of my life. When we lose one of them it’s a shot to the heart. It becomes a wound that never fully heals. He’s my hero because he was special, not like anyone else I have ever met. My grandmother continued to live and overcome the difficulties of life. Their life serves as a great paragon for me. My grandparents’ biggest dream was to see me happy and one day be successful. I admire them and appreciate them.
